34. Benediction

Moving toward the end of obscene wealth and income inequality and human rights abuses.

In short, take care of yourself and stop consuming until you get a government that protects and a society that respects your human or civil rights and until walls of unbridled capitalist power-mongering come tumbling down. Stop consuming until all people have safe places to stay, clothes to wear, food to eat, and access to healthcare and affordable education. Each time you feel a pang of desire and resist the temptation to consume, know that you are sacrificing illusions for your own self-growth, the well-being of the planet and all life.

Special Call to Celebrities and Influencers

I am also asking celebrities to secretly contribute to the foundation of renegade groups and organizations, dress fashionably down, speak at meetings, and bring attention to projects that fulfill these goals. The Kardashians are over. Diamond-studded teeth are over. Wearing Marilyn Monroe’s evening gowns to a Met Gala is over. Gold toilets are over. Mega mansions, super yachts, Armani Suits, Jimmy Chu shoes, and gold Rolex watches are vulgar. They are over. If you have it, don’t flaunt it and don’t get any more. Do not advertise your wealth publicly. As long as there is poverty and hunger in the world, it is in very poor taste. It does not show your classiness, but it does show your inconsiderate disregard for abject poverty and disregard for human rights on earth.

Do not induce envy or desire. Instead, inspire your brothers and sisters to tend to each other, to reject unbridled consumerism, and take down those dedicated to grabbing as much as they can. Carry your wealth like Keanu Reeves. Don’t pretend to give it all away like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates, as a publicity stunt, yet take it all back in another way. There is nothing wrong with being wealthy, but there is something wrong with flaunting it before those who are struggling, which is a very large proportion of the public today. I am not a communist or a socialist. I am someone who thinks you can harness capitalism to achieve good. I am a humanist who respects Mother Earth. I ask you to consider being the same.
